Good Natured Kids
Offered for 3 & 4 year old kids with an accompanying grown up, these classes are all about getting outdoors to explore, learn and connect to the natural world. New topics monthly.
BEYOND THE BOOK
Books, like a walk in the woods, can be an adventure and an escape. They open a new world to the reader – a world that can spark interest in the natural world and fuel imagination!
BIRD BANDING
Learn why birds are banded and how bird banding helps with conservation. Then get up-close when you learn how to safely trap, handle and release song birds.
CAVE TOUR & HISTORIC HIKE
Learn about some of the historic features of Quarry Hill and tour the sandstone storage cave, carved in 1882.
CRITTER SPOTLIGHT
Critter spotlights focus on the eating, sleeping and survival skills of an animal that calls Quarry Hill home.
Homeschool Classes
Homeschool classes are taught by our experienced naturalists and use the extensive resources in Quarry Hill Park to create unique science experiences that support at home learning while building respect for the natural world.
