Spring Break Days Nature Camp - 3 days - Cancelled

No homework required during this three-day mini camp for grades K-6. Spend your days off enjoying some good-natured fun with a Quarry Hill naturalist discovering the many signs of spring emerging in the park. Explorers, birders, photographers - read on to see which camp is designed especially for your age group.

  • Advance registration is required. Register online here.
  • Camp runs for three days - March 31 through April 2.
  • Please wear appropriate dress for weather conditions.
  • Campers should wear shoes that can get wet & muddy.
  • Small class sizes ensure hands-on participation for all campers.

Muck and Slime for grades K-1 (Camp is Full)

Do you love ooey-gooey nature and science? Explore the wonders of sticky mud, messy nature, and slimy critters! From the classroom to the forest to the pond, we’ll have fun exploring, investigating and crafting with the messy side of nature!

Bonkers for Birds for grades 2-3 
March 31 - April 2, 9:00 - 11:30 am
Fee $60, $50 members 
Join us this spring as things are ‘going to the birds’ at Quarry Hill.  We will trap live birds, hold them, band them, and release them. This bird focus will help us learn more about their amazing adaptations and their importance in our natural world.

Spring Nature Photography for grades 4-6 (Camp is Full)
March 31 - April 2, 9:00 - 11:30 am
Fee $65, $55 members 
Join Quarry Hill staff to explore the great outdoors with camera in hand – searching to capture the essence of all things spring! Quarry Hill will provide the digital cameras and laptops for editing photos. Campers will also be able to store photos on their own, Quarry Hill provided 4GB flash drive in order to take them home.
