Programs & Events

Quarry Hill Nature Center is located on a 320 acre park in Rochester, Minnesota. We use the pond, forest, prairie, stream, limestone quarry, and miles of trails to teach about the wonders of nature and outdoor fun.

We offer education programs for school groups that will tie in with MN state science standards or as an end of the year fun day. For the general public we offer classes for all ages and have numerous special events, such as our Fall Festival, throughout the year. We also offer birthday parties and summer nature camps.

Naturalist programs are available for private groups, scouts, 4-H, and other organizations. For more information about these opportunities, please call the Nature Center at 328-3950.
