Employment Opportunities at Quarry Hill

Quarry Hill Nature Center staff carry out a variety of functions that make up the Quarry Hill program, with most staff involved in actual teaching or assisting with classes of students, families, or adults. Each year the regular staff swells by about 15 people during the summer to provide the Quarry Hill Summer Nature School Program. These additional staff are usually individuals who are either current college students interested in environmental education or area teachers interested in working with students in a different type of setting for the summer.

To be considered for a summer position, interested individuals should print the application for employment (PDF), fill it out, and send it to Quarry Hill with a follow-up phone call a week later. Summer staff positions are usually filled by April 1st each year. To inquire about any year-round position openings send the application form in and call or email periodically to be updated on any openings.
